Covington and George Rogers Clark Park

Covington and George Rogers Clark Park offer one of the most popular proposal spots near Cincinnati. Located across the river, this area gives you stunning skyline views with a quieter and more intimate atmosphere (depending on the day of the week). One of my favorite parts about this location is how cinematic it feels during sunset. The Cincinnati skyline glows in the background while the riverfront adds movement and texture to your photos.

Ault Park

Ault Park is popular proposal location in Cincinnati because of its variety. From elegant gardens to wooded trails, the park offers several beautiful places to pop the question.

The Pavillion

The Gardens

The gardens provide lots of space and variety. From the open lawns to the fountains surrounded by flowers, there are lots of options to choose from.

The Trails

Ault Park has some beautiful trails to explore. These paths feel intimate and secluded while still giving you beautiful natural scenery.

Cherry Blossoms

For couples on the west side of Cincinnati, Miami Whitewater Forest is such an underrated proposal location. The park feels peaceful, natural, and removed from the busier city areas. Because of this, it is perfect for couples wanting a quieter proposal experience. The lake views create beautiful reflections during sunset. Additionally, the walking trails offer secluded spots surrounded by greenery. The scenery changes beautifully throughout the seasons, making it a strong option year round.

Voice of America Park

If you are looking for a more north location, Voice of America MetroPark is a beautiful option. The park is huge, but my favorite proposal spot is tucked into a small garden area just off the south side of VOA Lake, giving it a more secluded and intimate feel. It is quiet, scenic, and still close enough to the water to get gorgeous views and sunset light in your photos. The path leading into the garden helps create a more private moment while still keeping that open, natural park feel. It is especially pretty in the spring and summer when everything is green and blooming, but honestly works well year round if you are wanting something peaceful and romantic without going too far from Cincinnati.

Even during busy seasons, there are many quiet spots perfect for an intimate proposal moment. Additionally, the golden hour light filtering through the trees creates stunning proposal photos. For couples who feel most connected in nature, this location feels especially meaningful.
