Hi there, I'm Alex – your future wedding and elopement photographer!
Photography became more than just a hobby when I was gifted my own camera as a high school graduation present. It followed me through college, where I began booking clients and really finding my unique style. In fall of 2020, I assisted at my first wedding and was immediately hooked. The mix of joy, tears, and a bit of controlled chaos was exhilarating! Having always been drawn to leadership roles in scouts, guiding the flow of a wedding day came naturally to me. Whether I’m organizing the bridal party for group photos or capturing that final dance, I’m there to make sure everything runs smoothly.
I’ve always had a love for capturing moments, a passion that was sparked by my dad who was rarely seen without his camera. Growing up, we traveled often and those trips are etched in my memory thanks to the photos he took. When I got my hands on his camera in high school, I started snapping pictures of everything — friends, family, travels, and even the little bits of nature that Ohio has to offer. That camera became my constant companion and I never left the house without it.

When I’m not behind the camera...
You’ll find me hanging out with my boyfriend and our dog, binge-watching TV, running around the dog park, or hiking out in nature. I love traveling, discovering new restaurants, and chasing the perfect sunset. Spring flowers, vibrant fall leaves, and the occasional dramatic storm always bring me joy. Nature’s beauty has a way of reigniting my passion for photography, inspiring me to capture people in the stunning world we live in and making every moment feel even more special.

I grew up just south of Dayton and moved to Cincinnati to study Marketing at UC. After college I took a hiatus and backpacked Europe with some friends. We visited 25 countries in two months! One of my goals is to return and shoot weddings in some of my favorite destinations!
The Boyfriend: Logan
Logan and I met on Bumble in 2022. He will occasionally join me during photography sessions as a second shooter or grabbing behind the scenes videos and assisting where needed. He is super supportive and I don't know where I'd be without him!
Our Puppy: emmie
Emmie joined our family in late 2022 and we have loved seeing her come out of her shell! She loves the dog park, random adventures, pup cups, and snuggling (but not to close lol, she still likes her space too). We adopted her from CAC and hope to find her a sibling in the near future :)
